I’m pretty sure you were thinking about this before you got the hang of it. I see a lot of people on social media who “googled” “ciroc logo”, but then they’ve probably been gone for a long time. Its official, but there are a lot of unofficial logos and variants in use, so you’ll have to be one of the people whove been on this blog for a while to know which one is ciroc.
The very first logo for the company was a stylized version of the letter “C”. It was designed to be a type of watermark that would be visible even on a watermarked image. It was a unique logo that the company never came up with another one for and we’ve learned that its official logo was never used. We’ve also learned that the company has had several other logos in use, but the one we know of is this ciroc logo.
Weve learned that the ciroc logo was used for a period of time in the 1990s but then disappeared. In fact, the company’s founder, Mike Ciroc, was so mad he would leave his company a series of angry emails. Weve learned that the logo was brought back after the company was bought by Microsoft and then sold to Atari.
Ciroc is a name that most people have heard of and yet its logo is completely unknown. Because the logo is not well known, weve learned that its presence in any official logo database is highly questionable. One of the reasons is because the logo is quite similar to a logo for the company that has been used for a long time, but when we contacted companies that list the logo, they didnt even know of it.
We asked our friends at the logo database company if this logo was actually being used or if it was just a marketing trick. They said it was the latter and that it was a bit of a marketing ploy. Its presence on their logo database is also largely a marketing ploy. Their logo database is a really good place to look for other companies that use the logo. If you dont see the logo there, its probably because the company did not list it at all when we asked.
