I am a part of a movement to bring Cuban-style drinking to the American drinking age. According to the Cuban Drinking Association, they have the right to change their drinking age to 18. This is a monumental victory for the anti-tobacco movement because they have been denied their rights for so long.

Cubans have been drinking heavily since the Revolution. The oldest known example of a Cuban party was at the Hotel Miami in New York in 1937, which was over 100 years old, so it’s fair to say that Cubans have been drinking in moderation for quite some time, given there is no official drinking age in Cuba.

It’s also good to note that there have been a few “experts” that claim that the drinking age is 18, but these experts are not really scientists, so it would be unfair to put them in charge of making the official drinking age.
