I’ve been thinking about creating garland for my stairs and I’m determined to have it done by the end of the year. Now that I have some time on my hands I’m inspired to make it myself. I’m using a simple piece of paper, a string, and some glue to create a garland and I think it’s going to be a nice gift for a friend that lives in the same house as me.
There is a simple DIY garland that you can make yourself using this same technique. But the challenge is not having the time to make it. The garland you will find online is a much quicker solution.

It might look a little complicated, but I promise it is much easier than you think. Start with a length of the appropriate size rope, and tie a couple of the ends together. Cut a small piece of the rope into six or eight pieces. Use a sharp knife or scissors to cut the ends of the rope into small pieces. Make sure to leave enough of the rope to form the shape of the garland.
