On the other side of the coin, we are not so much aware of our thoughts and reactions when they aren’t working for us. There are so many things that happen to us that we don’t even give them a second thought because we are so caught up with our daily activities. This is one of those things.
So you may be thinking. “I have a problem when I am not doing something I want to do. Why should I be doing a task I want to be doing when I am busy doing something else?” Well, yes. That’s a good question. The first thing to realize is that you can’t just choose to do something you want to do without thinking about it first. You can’t just decide to do something and forget about it.
If I did that, I would have done that. I would have gone to school and worked and played soccer for about a month then worked and played my way through the university, but I would have been stuck in the middle of it and would have gotten stuck in the middle of it forever.
There is a difference between deciding to do something and actually doing it. You can do something without thinking about it. You can just decide to do some things and forget about them. In that case, you wont have a choice, because if you don’t make that decision, you won’t be in control.
