I love to travel, so I wanted a blanket that was weighted so it wouldn’t catch on my luggage and be uncomfortable. I went with a heated blanket because it’s a great way to keep me warm.
As it turns out, I picked up a weighted blanket at the same warehouse the game was built in. When I opened it up it had some kind of weird coating that made it look like it was made from paper, but in fact it was made from wool. It is also made from the same wool that I used in my pillowcase. It probably doesn’t matter though, because I am so addicted to wool.
What the developers are doing is basically putting wool on a heating pad to try and keep you warm. The wool is very light, so it wont catch on things but it does stay put. The wool is also very durable and wont easily fall apart.
It has a different purpose in the game. One of the things that the developers wanted to include was a “weighted blanket” feature. A weighted blanket basically makes the wool that you use in your blanket more powerful. That’s why after you do a lot of fighting, you will have to use your weighted blanket more to help you.
I found a lot of wool and a lot of wool blankets in my home just sitting there. Most of these were for my cats, but some of them were for me. They were so comfortable and I used to play in them all the time, even though I was a lot younger then. So I was really surprised and excited to see the developers added this feature to Deathloop. I think the fact that it’s so comfortable to use it and is so durable is awesome.
Also, it’s super quick to wash and dry.
The only part of the blanket that is not durable is the heating element, which is kind of my only complaint about it. I know that’s not a big deal, but it is annoying that I have to turn the heating element to get to the heating element when I’m sleeping.
